VolksEEG: An Open-Source Medical Device
The beginning of a great adventure!
VolksEEG will result in an open-source electroenchephalogram (EEG) machine, fully cleared by the FDA for standard clinical use. All designs will be freely available for others to manufacture.

To our knowledge, there are currently no open-source electronic medical devices that are FDA cleared for clinical use; VolksEEG will change that, and spark a revolution in better and cheaper devices.
We don't have a fancy web site yet, but our project is in active development - please see our GitHub site for more details. (If you're not a nerd... GitHub is a place where developers share information for a project. Even non-nerds should take a look, the home page has a lot of good information about our project.)
